Capucine Violet is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst in Paris. She holds a Master in clinical psychology (practice), with a specialisation in children and adolescents, in University of Paris VII, and a D.U. on « psychic issues around birth » at the university of Versailles. She is member of the board of directors of the association La Cause des Bébés (the cause of babies). Violet’s practice and research have been committed to people, history, and language. She has served as a film story editor in Los Angeles for 5 years, working with, amoog others, Sony Pictures’ Seaside Productions, and EuropaCorp, the society for film production launched by Luc Besson. She has been an independent film producer as well as development director at Gaumont Film Company.
