JACK BLACK

Jack Black is a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. His research examines the interlinkages between society, culture, and the psyche, with theoretical insights drawn from psychoanalysis, cultural/critical theory, and philosophy. Jack is author of Race, Racism and Political Correctness in Comedy – A Psychoanalytic Exploration (Routledge, 2021) and co-editor of the forthcoming Sport and Physical Activity in Catastrophic Environments (Routledge). In 2021, he was appointed Research Lead for the Anti-Racism Research Group at the Centre for Culture, Media, and Society (Sheffield Hallam University).
