LAURENCE JOSEPH

Laurence Joseph is a psychoanalyst and clinical psychologist. She directs the Psychoanalysis Collection at the Hermann Press (Éditions Hermann). Joseph studied philosophy at the Sorbonne, Paris IV and later graduated as a clinical psychologist from Paris VII. She currently practices adult and paediatric psychiatry. She is a member of the scientific committee of l’Institut Hospitalier de Psychanalyse (IHP) at Sainte-Anne Hospital (Groupement Hospitalier Paris Neuroscience GHU) where she gives seminars. She is also a temporary lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at Paris V.  Joseph regularly intervenes in the public sphere in her capacity as a psychoanalyst and her writings have appeared in SAY, Intelligences EconomiquesLa Revue Etudes, and Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco. Joseph published her first Book La chute de l intime in 2021 at Hermann Press.
