M. LUCIA RIVERA

M. Lucía Rivera studied philosophy and received her doctoral degree from the National University of Colombia, in Bogotá. Her interests in ethics and theories of action and responsibility led her to working on bioethics, applied ethics and feminist philosophy. Rivera teaches at the department of Bioethics at Universidad El Bosque in Bogotá, and is a founding member of the Colombian Network of Women Philosophers. She is also part of the consultative committee for the UNESCO Network of Latin American Women Philosophers. She is currently writing a book on decolonial feminist critiques of bioethical principlism.
